A Group of Leading Normal People Have Given the "All Clear" Sign to Frame Again

Commerce, GA. Nov. 4, 2008

With the Presidential election of 2008 all but over ("Only thing left to do is to count the vote") a panel of leading Normal People have declared it now OK to go forward with life and do normal things like wash dishes, bathe the dog, deer hunt, and frame things.

It was this last item that excited VC from DonByramArt in Commerce, Georgia. VC, who is Vice President of Marketing for DonByramArt, said he overheard this comment while filling his car up with gas on his way to work. "First thing I noticed this morning was people talking to each other again about stuff that was Normal. Things like, how's your family, missed you at Church last Sunday...everything OK?, and we really could use some rain. It was like Common Sense was starting to make its way back into Normal everyday life. But, what really got me excited was when I was paying for my gas and I heard a nice middle-aged lady, who was buying a gallon of milk, say she was going to drop by that frame shop in Commerce to get a Christmas present framed for her sister. She said she had a family picture from when they were kids and she thought it would be a nice gift to frame for her sister for Christmas that now lives somewhere in the Midwest."

VC then started to listen to the other conversations of Normal People. It quickly dawned on him that Normalcy, which seemed to him to have fled the country for several of the last few months, was going to return....slowly, but surely. "It was like people seeing each other again after a long illness," VC said. "I was very excited to see people acting Normal again and grouping together to discuss what they have put off framing for months and months."

He continued, "The real kicker for me was when I realized I was paying less than $2.20 for gas. That felt good. Not as good as a few years ago, but Normal for today. I paid the cashier (and told him to have a nice Normal day), jumped in my car and drove Normally to the store. Once there, I opened the door and turned on the lights. I was excited to see them come on...just like Normal."

Finally, VC wants all the dba'ers to know, "It's OK now to come out of the house and frame again. Things are coming back to Normal so you need to bring all those family pictures, football jerseys, baby clothes, documents, artwork (remember that thing you got on the cruise?), out of wherever they have been collecting dust for the last year and get them into DonByramArt ASAP!!"

Janice, who had been listening quietly to VPVC's assessment of today added, "Amen to the ASAP. Beat that Christmas crunch because, just like Normal, Christmas will will be here before we know it! "
