DBA'ers,

As of Feb 2nd, DonByramArt will be open for 1 year.

So, we are having a sale!

Our First 1yr Anniversary Sale. We thought that was an odd thing to name it. We tossed around our Annual Anniversary Sale. That was awkward. Considering the economics of the last year, maybe it should just be called Still Standing Sale!

We talked about having a gala to celebrate. You know, caviar. Black tie. String Quartet. Didn't seem like our style. We talked about a pig roast.....think Jimmy Buffet. Not really right either. I suggested we ask our customers to bring a sandwich or pizza and just hang out. Maybe we could get a big bowl of M&M's for dessert. Janice and VC looked at me like I had three eyes. Also talked about raffling off a car. VC has the nicest one between us and he wasn't willing to give his up. So, we were a little stumped as what else we should do.

So, we are going to stick with having a sale. Well.....OK. We can do that. Sounds like a good solid retail thing to do.

While we don't have a lot of sales, it's not that we don't like sales. We are rather fond of them. In fact, when we visit our competitors, we realize our regular pricing is pretty close to their sale prices. So, in the normal DonByramArt thinking, we think everyday around here is pretty much a sale. Add to that, over a thousand choices in moulding, people who have been framing for the entire century (and beyond), and our general laid back demeanor about life.....and it's much better than "the other guy's" sale......everyday!

In honor of our 1st Anniversary, we are going to have a 10% off sale for all new framing brought in Friday the 30th and Saturday the 31st. Don't forget....we darn near give the stuff away everyday, as it is. So, our 10% off is like everyone elses 40%-50% off.

Why? We want you to feel good about using us everyday, not just when we have a sale.

And I still think I'll bring in my big bag of M&M's I have sitting on my car dash. I just hope they aren't all stuck together and gooey.
