I don't golf.
Nor do I have gawdzillion dollar endorsement deals I have to worry about losing.
I don't care much to follow the ups and downs of celebrities.
Although I do wonder, from time to time, if Elvis and Ann-Margaret are still together....
So, I have to admit I didn't watch Tiger Woods' apology. Sorry.
Contstant "news" flashes though, did remind me that it is time to get up to date with you!
The art shows we're doing, the events, the neat things people framed, what pearls of wisdom VC and Janice are sharing with the world, etc.....
Onward to the future!!!!
Art Show at Commerce Middle School
This Tuesday night, there is a combined Art Show, Sale, and Band Concert at the Commerce Middle School to celebrate the budding artists that are under the tutelage of Art Teacher Deanna Neal and Band Director Jack Balthazor. The Art Show and Sale starts at 6pm and the Concert starts at 7pm. Come support the Arts! Proceeds from the Art Sale go to the Art Department to support those up and coming artists of Commerce!!
This artwork is from 5th grader Tristen Boyer!
Bring It! Frame It! Love It!
As your Full-Line Custom Frame Shop, neat things people framed recently:
A world history chart for Grove Level Baptist Church. It was a good size piece (37x45). We love doing charts and maps and all kinds of oversize pieces for churches, businesses, and families!
An original Ford Motor Company poster from 1923 that DBA'er Frank framed. Your collectable pieces never leave our shop, are handled by professionals and you'll love displaying them!
DBA'er Rose brought us this fabulous print of her Grandfather when he was the Head Chef at General Motors in Detroit in the 1950's. We stretched and gallery wrapped it for her, so she can proudly display it in her kitchen!
The DBA Exclusive: Alex Chamber's free beautiful watercolor folk prints when you Frame It with us!
As for Pearls of Wisdom from Janice and VC-- drop in and see us!!
Thanks for playing nicely,
Don
